About 1920 the top was redesigned to include a visor above the windshield for a better weather seal. Since the car has the rectangular top sockets a date closer to Mar Apr 1917 would appear more likely to me than the earlier dates. Note the car is equipped with an electric tail lamp which would NOT have been standard equipment on a Ford until 1919 and then only if the car was ordered with the optional electrical starter.
